Magic Hands Birth and Therapeutic Services founder Deb Lawrence has been educating and helping new moms for years. She has a degree in Family Studies from Purdue University and uses it to inspire mothers.
Deb offers professional light touch therapy to help your body transform pain into freedom through training in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy. Deb uses the Gillespie Approach, a gentle, effective technique to loosen that tightness.
Deb also brings 20+ years of experience as a labor doula and childbirth educator to her practice of therapeutic bodywork services. Deb joins the couple when the labor becomes more intense and stays with them until the baby is born, has nursed, and mom is settled in her postpartum location. Deb keeps notes throughout the birth and writes up her observations for the family.
Deb has been continuously teaching childbirth classes since January of 1996, providing knowledge, skills, and courage to birthing couples. Her Informed Beginning classes cover topics of Nutrition, Stages and Management of Labor and Delivery, Risks and Benefits of Medical Procedures, Conserving Energy in Normal Labor, and more.
